Personal Yoga Flow

Personal Yoga Flow is an opportunity for individuals to learn and do their own personal yoga class with an instructor. With this modality, the person can communicate what he or she would like to focus on and the therapist will develop a flow to address the client’s goal. This modality is different from Yoga Therapy in that the client does not have to fill out a health intake form and there is not a medical or psychological condition that is being focused on. This is a personal class similar to one in which the person would otherwise experience in a group class.

What to bring for class

If you have a yoga mat, that is great. If not, no worries. Make sure you have some form of cushion that is not slippery on hard floors for floor postures. 

  • Blanket(s)
  • Yoga tie (or soft belt)
  • Pillow (for under knees, back, or head)
  • Eye pillow (or a washcloth, pillowcase)
  • Chair (without rollers)
  • Yoga blocks (or stackable books)


If you are interested in doing multiple classes to achieve your yoga goals, you can book a package. It includes four classes at $15 per class.

If you are looking forward to sharing your class with family or friends, just add $8 per extra adult. Also, inquire about our Yoga & Me live classes. This is a class you can do with your children – no extra cost for children.

Group classes are available to book. Even if your group members are in a different location than you, they can join with you. Price is listed under Plans.

Other Useful Information


Studies are being done around Yoga and COVID. It can have some benefits in helping a person cope with the experience of COVID. It is ideal to work with an instructor who has experience in this area because the virus can have devastating risks. Intuitive Spirit Healing Arts is capable of working with clients with COVID (virtually only).

Injury or Surgery

If you had a recent injury or surgery, give yourself some time before giving it 100 percent in a class.  It is best to get adequate rest first. If there is healthy swelling or warmth in the area, that means your body is being a superstar by starting the healing process.  With yoga, you want to be mindful not to reinjure or make the injury worse.

If you are still interested in doing yoga during your healing period, you can sign up for the Yoga Therapy session. With this modality, we can focus on yoga tools such as meditation, pranayama (breathwork), mantra, Yoga Nidra, etc. that can support your healing journey.

If you have other health concerns that you are not sure if yoga would be helpful or not, please consult with your doctor.

Referrals of a Doctor

Keep in mind that if you have been referred by your doctor and you are working with a specific condition, always let your doctor know your progress and how often you participate in classes.  


Yoga or other healing services we do here can be beneficial. However, we do not claim it will cure diseases or fix an injury.  Please do not stop taking any medications your doctor has prescribed to you.  If you think you are feeling better as a result of your healing arts services, please have a discussion with your doctor and get reliable tests done to track any changes you are experiencing.
